Bricks Profile

More Than Materials - Build To Impress.

Why Firing Temperature Matters — Especially at 1160°C

Terca bricks are sourced from top European Kilns across Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark and more.

The firing temperature plays a big role in the quality of a brick. Bricks fired at high temperatures like 1160°C go through a process called vitrification, where the clay partially melts and forms a denser, stronger structure. This results in:

Greater mechanical strength – the brick is more solid and durable.

Lower porosity – fewer pores mean less water absorption, reducing the risk of algae, fungus, and efflorescence.

In contrast, bricks fired at lower temperatures may not be fully sintered. This can lead to:

Weaker strength and durability

Higher porosity – allowing more water to enter, which can lead to stains or growth of mould

That’s why our bricks, fired at 1160°C, stand out. They’re built to last — strong, dense, and made for humid environments.

Brick lengths range from 188mm to 535mm and are available in wide spectrum of colors.

Our Eco bricks offer a slimmer profile (65mm thick) that maximizes internal space without compromising the visual impact of a full brick façade.
